Changing Selection Pics:
1 Ok so 1st up, you need to learn hexing!!
2 Download a Hex Editor! Search in google you will get it.
3 Extract Menu.PAC and plistpsp.ARC from your ISO.
4 Open Menu.PAC and scroll down to the end.
5 Now convert you custom pic to .GIM with Width - 128 & Height - 256 (Indexed Colour)
6 Open your custom converted .GIM with Hex, Press CTRL + A to copy the whole stuff!
7 Paste it at the end of Menu.pac in a valid offset which is 000 or 800 (Look at the last three digit in the end of menu pac it should end with 800 or 000 before you paste)
8 For example in my menu.pac the offset ends with 02C707C0 so i will keep adding zeros at the end of menu.pac until it reach a valid offset
9 So when i get my valid offset it should look like this 02C70800. No matter what is the starting number bt it should end with 800 or 000 (Its very Important)
10 Now you are ready to paste your converted gim at the end of menu.pac bt before that NOTE DOWN THE OFFSET for example mine is 02C70800..
11 Open a hex calculator (You can search in google for calculating in hex) So now 02C70800 divided by 800 = 58E1 - 8 = 58D9
12 Well now i got my Offset of my converted .GIM which is 58D9
13 Now you also need to calculate your converted .GIM size!
14 Mine is 33.2kb Remember size is in decimal
15 Open a normal calculator from your pc/laptop
16 Then 33.2 x 1024 = 33996.8 divided by 100 = 339.968 + 1 = 340
17 Now search in google "decimal to hex" and convert your size for Ex: 340 to hex decimal = 154..Make it 4 digit by adding a zero 0154
18 Now you got your Offset and Size of your .GIM
19 Paste you Custom XXX.GIM at the end of menu.pac if you already did it then no need to paste it again, It will mess up the whole thing!!
20 Save the Menu.pac and open plistpsp.arc in hex and search for SSFA then the wrestler id Ex: i will be replacing Edge pic so Edge id is 110 also add a zero so Search SSFA then search again for '0110' ( Edge id )
then search SSFB and again wrestler id 0110
21 The four byte next to 0110 is xx and yy!! mine is 74 4E 54 01......74 4E is the xx of the file and 5401 is the yy of the file
22 Remember xx is Offset and yy is SIZE!!!!
23 Replace the xx and yy of 0110 with your calculated once which is xx = 58D9 yy = 0154 Replace them in a reverse way so 58D9 will be D958 and 0154 will be 5401
24 So i will replace xx and yy of 0110 with mine... 74 4E will be D958 and 5401 will be 5401 then save your plistpsp.ARC ..
25 Open Menu.pac and make the same changes what you did in plistpsp.arc (In the same way)
